Important premise in this article:
–ABOUT Italian & FOOD–
As I am a very nice soul, I tried to avoid being too biased towards my favorite cuisine. Should I say which one is? Italian of course! Well, excuse me, but I am Italian and for us, food is a sacred subject, almost a religionSo I wrote this post during a rare generosity adjustment!
I hope this will show you how open, kind and generous Italian.
Wherever you travel around the world, you can feel the impact of European meals and dishes almost everywhere. Whether it is the humble pizza, which has continued to dominate global fast food trends (unfortunately for American Italians), or French culinary sophistication, which has long influenced high -end meals, Europe is a farm for incredible culinary experiences and for centuries.
Everyone should visit Europe at least once in their life, for the huge cultural variance, incredible landscapes and some of the most welcoming people on earth – but also for food.
For people who consider themselves “gourmets” (or gastronomic travelers), the culinary delights found in each of the The 50 nations of Europe are too good to miss. Only real The question is where to start?
Well, I thought about a few European friends, dag in my recent travel memory and developed a really essential list of dishes. This list is far from final, of course, but if you are stuck with an indecision in a picturesque European restaurant, it could make you pass. So let’s dig!

Greece: KolokithokeFTEDES

Their name can be a bite, but you will forgive this when you enter this emblematic national specialty. I tasted this delicious Greek dish in a super cool local restaurant in Thessaloniki, and I remember saying to a friend “Hey, this” thing “is good !!”
As if I was surprised to have liked an unspeakable food that was not Italian. I feel like I deceive Italian cuisine whenever it happens 🙂
Be that as it may, these delicious Greek donuts are made with zucchini, feta cheese, fresh mint, onion, eggs and flour and are best hot, for a maximum impact.
They are a deliciously fresh, zingy snack and more ideal for vegetarians. By the way, I am not a vegetarian but I don’t like meat very much, I could pass for one. Associated with a Greek salad, they make an astonishing treat when you are in the cradle of democracy.
My notes for (oh my god, should I rewrite the name ??): Despite its name (note it before you head to any restaurant) I would give him a complete 9They are absolutely delicious (I’m really sorry for spaghetti and risotto! Please forgive me !!))

Yes, fundamentally my reaction every time I dare to love a dish that is not Italian!
Italy: Risotto All’Italiana

I will try to be brief and cut my hands to avoid writing a test on my delicious Italian cuisine. I write another article on this subject, and it’s almost “al dente” – “ready” – (just like spaghetti), so stay attentive!
What can I say on my beloved Risotto All’Italiana? When you hide your brain for popular Italian dishes, a plate of Mushroom risotto is surely one of them! Today, you will find it all over the world (should I cry or be happy with it?), So why is it on this list? Well, the risotto in Italy is available in combinations of flavors that you will find it difficult to find elsewhere in the world.
Yes, I tried it everywhere but I never found a risotto as good as the one we have in Italy. Sorry guys, suck that, as Madonna said one day (well, in a way):
Italian moms and non-no do it better!
Who am I to contradict Madonna after all?! 😉
More than the simple mushroom risotto, you will find fascinating combinations such as coffee and parmesan, asparagus and goat cheese, butter lobster and much more. This versatile dish was born in Italy and, for the best of the best, you must return to its native land. No argument here, it’s my last sentence!
My notes for the Italian risotto: I laugh while writing this, I let you guess which score I would give it 😀 But as I am Italian, I can assess different types of risotto for you!
- Risotto with seafood: 9+
- Risotto alla Milanese (with saffron and parmesan): 8
- Risotto with mushrooms (mushroom pigs): 10 +++
- Risotto with asparagus and cheese: 8+
Poland: Pierogi

Something of an oriental-European basic food, the Pierogi did not acquire the global recognition they deserve, but I would like to change this. When I Visited in Poland In 2015, I walked in the streets of VANSE sawIn search of a place to eat local food, and I had friends who send me SMS constantly, to make sure I have ordered the famous Pierogi!
Seriously, I had at least 3 friends who sent me an SMS after sending a screenshot of the menu, asking what type of Pierogi I should try. I ended up trying them all 🙂
These copious dumplings are generally filled with a combination of potatoes, meat, cheese and sauerkraut, garnished with butter, sure cream or fried bacon and onions, they are a completely indulgent and delicious treat which must simply be sampled while you are in a beautiful historic Poland.
My notes for Pierogi:: I was really impressed by this tasty dish, so I would give them a score of 8.5 (In this case, affectionate apologies go to my beloved Sardinian Seadas!)

England: Sunday lunch

England takes something suddenly (without puns) for its own kitchen, but it is not exactly just (well not at least 100%). I lived in England For 6 long years and, although traditional English cuisine lacks depth and subtlety on occasions, it never lacks flavor, with a huge accent on the natural flavors of meat and vegetables.
If you are in the United Kingdom on a Sunday, be sure to head for a local pub and try Sunday lunch. It is a national classic and includes meat of your choice.
The lamb is highly recommended which is twinned with puddings from Yorkshire, freshly boiled and roasted vegetables and sauce. It’s warm, comforting and delicious, for those who love meat.
My notes for England Sunday lunch: Tricky One! As I do not eat lamb, I have always asked for a more vegetarian “modified” option. I am not a vegetarian but I can’t stand the taste of the lamb, sorry!
That said, “the vegetarian option” was quite good and I would give him a score of 7Who should give me a standing ovation by the English people, for my desire to try their cuisine!

Germany: Currywurst

Non-liability clause: I am allergic (I mean “hospital, meurs allergic”) to spicy food, so I include this dish because some of my friends have mentioned it, saying that it should be in this list:
Currywurst is one of these staples “ not hit it before trying it ” and, unlike many other foods on this list, it is a fast food icon – available in the cities of Germany.
First of all, a delicious German bratwurst (pork sausage) is steamed and then fried, before being cut into pieces and served with fries and lashes of a spicy `curry` `curry ”, with a pinch of curry powder to finish.
It might not look like the meal of your dreams, but believe my friends when they say that leaving Germany without having sampled this delight is a huge error.
My notes for Currywurst: Since I am allergic to spicy food, I can only talk about my friend’s experience with this dish, They suggested an average score of 6.5 / 7I leave you the last sentence in the comments if you have tried it.

France: veal blanquette

France has contributed massively to the world of restaurants, but while coq to wine and the French onion soup have traveled the world, certain meals remain distinctly and only French.
Such a dish is Veal blanquette, a French calf stew (stew) which differentiates by not browning meat and fat, which achieves a white stew which has incredible wealth and tenderness.
You will find blanquettes throughout France under a certain number of original, but the veal blanquette based on veal is not the type to be missed if you chances it on a menu.
My notes for veal blanquette: I tried it, graceful of a French gentleman who invited me to dinner when I visited Paris for the first time. I am not crazy about meat mixed with other ingredients, so my notes for this dish are not very reliable, but everyone in France talks about it very well. I would note a 6.
Ok, ok it was a bit hard on my part, so to balance things, I will give the French wand a 10, and now we can all live in peace, okay? 😉
Sweden: Princesstarta

Sweden cuisine is strongly based on fish (delicious inches, I love it!), But it’s something sweet that I can’t get rid of my last visit.
Princessårta, or Cake Princess, is a simple but delicious cake that combines a base of traditional sponge cakes, jam, almond paste and a huge layer of whipped cream (You should know that I eat massive amounts of whipped cream, I can’t stop).
To top it off, a green mass dome is rested on the cake. Coupled with a view of the irresistible countryside of Sweden and (if you can drink it) a hot cup of strong coffee and you have an indulgent treat that will not let you escape a little on the belt.
My notes for PrincessStårta: No doubts or culinary exceptions here, I would note a 9. Why not a 10?… Well, I can only give a 10 to my beloved Tiramissin ‘and Cannoli Siciliani. I know, I’m terribly biased, but can you really blame me?
