1 | South Sardinia

Cala Cipolla Beach, detail

This photo was taken on one of my favorite beaches in the south of Sardinia: Cala Cipolla, the little sister of “Su Giudeu Beach” in Chia. Just 1 hour by car from Cagliari (45 minutes without traffic or low season). It’s really worth it. My recommendation is to go there early in the morning.

When I arrived around 7:45 am, the beach was surreal. Just me, the seagulls and the sun rising behind the small hill that separates this beach from the greatest Su Giudeu. Moments worthy of the trouble!

What I like most about this photo is that I was able to capture the perfect moment (Without my mobile getting wet!). I had to get closer to the water, so I had to take a fraction of a second. The mission accomplished because the ZenFone automatic focus function is rapidly fatal. A phewwww disaster avoided 🙂

Cala Cipolla / Chia Beach

This summer, I expressed with my crystal ball (my new obsession) and my zenfone zoom to try to capture the beauty of Sardinia in a different perspective, alias upside down and with the focusing background, using the depth of the function of the function of the function of the field function!

The brilliant light that you see on my hand is the sun refracted by the ball (when the light strikes the ball, it takes 1 second to burn your hand, so if you decide to try it, be careful … Auch!).

Cala cipolla The beach is incredible, one of my favorite in the south, highly recommended for people who love peace and tranquility of a smaller beach, turquoise waters and rocky formations to dive and swim (more about this later)

3 | South Sardinia

Cagliari, Sella del Diavolo

This is one of my favorites! People associate Cagliari with the main beach post, but few tourists know the hike “Sella del Diavolo”. At the start of Poetto beach, near “Marina Piccola”, a small charming and lively pier, the hike begins. It takes about 30/40 minutes to reach the top and enjoy this view. Not to be missed if you visit Cagliari!

4 | Southwest Sardinia

Carloorte Island

I bet few people know that CarloForm, a small island on the southern coast of Sardinia, would hide so many enchanting places! It is one of them, displaying a large sunset. If you want a Sardinia vacation like no other, go to Carloorte and … you will not be disappointed!

5 | South Sardinia

Cagliari, Sella del Diavolo

Another blow that I took during the hiking at the Sella del Diavolo in JulyThe color of the water is beautiful and the agave plants scattered all around definitely add a touch of wild nature to the beauty of this place. I still cannot believe how many local people are surprised that these photos were taken in Cagliari. Sometimes we travel through the oceans when we have paradise at home!

6 | South Sardinia

Cagliari, seen from the “Sella del Diavolo”

Another panoramic view that you can admire during hiking at the top of Sella del Diavolo in Cagliari. The hike itself is quite easy and the rewards are endless as you can see 🙂 When I do hiking, I generally do not bring my digital reflex and I am so relieved that I can take a great blow with my mobile!

7 | South Sardinia

Between Cala Cipolla and Su Giudeu Beach

This place is simply great! I decided to explore a little more Rocky side of Cala Cipolla beach (left) So I made a mission with my mobile on the midday hot sun. The little hike was super easy and I found this isolated place. Some guys had time for their lives skip the cliff (Not recommended! You can injure yourself on the rocks below). They were far from the place where I was standing then … I was zooming and … voila!

If you are in fishing or just relax from the crowded beach in July, that’s all! Reserve for these crazy guys who left the “crime scene” 20 minutes later, it was just me and the wilderness. You will have to find the path carefully to get closer to the rocks on the water, find a dish and … enjoy your point of paradise!

8 | South coast of Sardinia

Cagliari coast

Who needs to use a filter when the colors are so shiny! I took this photo using the ZenFone HDR function (I am super polenting with regard to sharpness) and I loved the results of the postcard

9 | Sardinia on the east coast

Oasi Biderosa – Orosei

I went here last summer and let me tell you that it is one of the best “well-maintained secrets” in Sardinia. In reason. Oasi Biderosa is a complex of 4 beaches inside a national park, so access to tourists is limited to 40 per day!

I went there in high season and no one was there. Seriously, I am Sardinian and I am used to the crowd, so I almost entered shock: D. You must ask for instructions to get there because the road is not easy Orosei or Dorgali (My favorite space in Sardinia elsewhere) and you will have to pay a low amount to enter the natural park.

Tip: you can book your place online by calling them. It is if you speak Italian as unfortunately, I have not seen an English flag on the official website but that you can always try! Here is the website With prices and contacts. Don’t miss this paradise!

Oasi Biderosa – Orosei

Just another blow on the deserted beach Oasi biderosa. When I don’t swim or I don’t just stay in turquoise waters for hours in a row, I like to experience photography on an empty beach!

11 | Sardinia of the East

Orosei beach

Another large place in the fantastic region (is it even a word?!) Golfo di OOSEI. I tell you, if you decide to visit Sardinia and miss this place, you will regret it!

Lateral note (and you don’t care, I know .. But it’s my website, right?) 😀: It was the last time I wore this bikini (my favorite of all time). After 15 years of a very intimate relationship, it abandoned me. Rest in peace my dear companion of so many adventures, you miss you a lot!

Golfo di Orosei, Cala Biriola Hike

What incredible view huh?! This is what you will see if you head to Cala BiriolaOne of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. Usually, you will reach the beach by boat during one of the daily trips, but if you feel adventurous, there is a hiking trail (not for beginners) to get to the beach and admire this breathtaking view. It’s worth the effort!

Cala Biriola is located near Cala GononeA very touristy but charming district of Golfo di Orosei and I cannot recommend this region enough.

13 | South Sardinia

Chia, Spiaggia su giudeu

As you can see, my famous bikini was already resting at the bottom of my closet (yeah, call me sentimental, I did not have the heart to throw it away). Many people asked me if I took this photo in a swimming pool. No, I was swimming in the turquoise seas of the beach of Su Giudeu, just 45 minutes from Cagliari.

The photo was taken for a few seconds before being attacked by a bad jellyfish. But don’t worry, they are not easily spotted in this area. I have found the only one vicious probably and I annoyed it by filming it and invading its intimacy. She clearly didn’t like it! 🙂

14 | Northeast coast

Caprera, Cala Coticcio

A real gem of Sardinia, not a coincidence that it was renamed “Little Tahiti”! You can find this beautiful place on the island of Caprera in the Della Maddalena archipelago. Easy to reach with daily boat trips or even renting your own boat. Speating the day in such a beach is one of the activities you cannot miss when you visit Sardinia! Bring your diving equipment with snorkel because this place is perfect for turning into fish for hours in a row! 🙂

15) South Sardinia

Chia, Su Giudeu Beach

Chia again?! Yes, I mean, come on, I have paradise less than an hour from my parents’ house and I don’t like that?! I had to be crazy not to do it. The Chia is perfect for everyone, diving with snorkel to the small island in front of the beach to admire the whole gulf to water sports such as the board board, the kite surf and … this.

Do not ask me what is the name because it was a trend that was born last summer (2015) and when I saw these crazy people ejected from water like that, I was perplexed and fascinated. Did I try it? Mhhhh no, thank you 🙂 But just watching it is really fun!
