Things to know before visiting barbados:
Everything here obviously comes from the experience of my friend in Barbados
Each country has a different culture and rules to follow. It is always important to adhere to each standard if we do not want to be trouble while having fun with the barbados. Here are some tips that we need to know before heading to Paradis Island in the Caribbean:
1 | Avoid MANCHINEEL fruits, especially when it is wet.

We always think of fruits as always delicious, but there are certain plants and fruits that we don’t want you to spoil. Manchineel secures a toxic substance harmful to us humans and if it touches your skin, you will be burned. It is strongly recommended to stay away from this fruit. You will recognize a penguin fruit because there is either a sign on them or a red group, you will therefore know it.
2 | Do not dress in outfit designed by camouflage motif.
When planning What to wear when you visit the BarbadosAvoid the design of camouflage because printing models are only used strictly by their military government. If you have a shirt, shorts, bags or shoes designed at camouflage, it is better to leave it at home where you will be removed.
3 | Avoid bringing leather clothes:
Especially if its dry season because it will melt in the stifling tropical heat. It is preferable just Bring light clothes Like shirts, shorts and simple sandals, especially if it’s the dry season … These clothes are good to wear and compliment the climate to barbados.
3 | Rules of smoking at barbados:
It is not allowed to smoke in certain places such as beaches, the road, historic facilities and sites. If you want to smoke, you must make sure that the place in which you are allowed to smoke otherwise you will have trouble (it’s good to know for me … unfortunately).
4 | Barbados restrictions and rules: the first is quite sad.
- Homosexuality is illegal. It’s a sad fact for the moment, but let’s just be aware.
- Naked breasts are not allowed. The sun could seduce you to go to the end and lounge in the heat, but it is not the barbados norm, so prevent yourself from doing it. I am not a problem for me because I have never gone naked in my life 🙂
5 | Rules of marine life: (use common sense, not just barbados)

Do not touch the turtles! By touching them or holding them, you could prevent them from presenting themselves, which is dangerous for them. Do not try to feed them either, they are already fed during the day by eating fish or they eat grass on the reefs. Allow us to see them like beautiful creatures.
6 | Cultural habits in Barbados
Not everyone is in a hurry Because people live the life of the island and follow the time of the island (which is great!). If you are a punctual person, which should be a little bored. As there is no feeling of urgency, customer service is generally slow, so patience should be a virtue that you must pack before going to the barbados!
7 | Average price: is the barbados dear?
Almost everything is imported. Barbados is an island that does not really have an infrastructure to create their own good (food or products), so almost everything must be imported … Expect that the goods you buy are expensive. On the lighter side, American dollars are widely accepted on the island. If you visit the United States, then lucky! You don’t need to go through the hassles of converting your money.
Has my friend missed something? If you have visited Barbados, please share your experience, suggestions and impressions by commenting below, I trust my friend but I would like to hear from you too!
