The Margaritaville Resort Orlando gives a taste of the living of the island in the center of Florida. No passport is required, but you have the impression of getting on an island of the Caribbean from the moment you enter the complex. From the theme of welcome rum to the theme of the beach to the endless loop of Jimmy Buffet on the audio system, the chill atmosphere immediately puts you in a vacation spirit and facilitates the oblivion that you are in the center of Suntetimulation which is the Orlando region in Florida.
We were really impressed by the decor of Margaritaville Orlando Resort. So, frequently, hotels can take the theme of the beach too far. Not here. It is beach and cold, but with the taste and quality you expect in a 4+ star seaside resort. The quotes from the songs of Jimmy Buffet scattered on the property remind you that you are in Margaritaville.

Location. Location. Location.
Located in Kissimmee FL right next to the 192 motorway, Margaritaville Resort Orlando is only 15 minutes from Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort, and 10 minutes from Animal Kingdom. And it’s only about 30 minutes from the Universal Orlando theme park and all the others Fun things to do in Orlando with children. Keep in mind that Margaritaville Resort is different from Margaritaville camp.

Although this family seaside resort has an excellent attachment base to explore Disney parks, there is something to do on site that you don’t need to leave the property if you do not wish.
However, if you want to combine a visit with a trip to Disney, the hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the Disney transport center three times in the morning and four returns in the evening. There are also Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Seaworld Orlando and Universal Orlando Resort shuttles. The shuttle is free, but you have to book it the day before until an hour before. See more information on shuttle services here.
Alternatively, you can take a Uber or Lyft to Disney parks for $ 10 to $ 15 (subject to change) in each direction. This is how we went to save on parking costs in parks and parking costs of $ 20 per night at the hotel. Sixt car rental also has an office in the hall if you just want to rent a car for a day.
Margaritaville orlando resort rooms

The Margaritaville Orlando Resort offers 265 rooms and suites distributed in several buildings. Suites are also available, including the 2,400 square feet Jimmy Buffet suite, which has its own private kitchen and large terrace.
If you really like it, vacation chalets are also available with an eight bedrooms, full kitchens, dining rooms and living spaces. Cottage customers have full access to complex equipment and can choose from the optional services, including daily household and / or grocery delivery.
The rooms have a relaxed luxury beach decor, with large bathrooms with double sinks and a large shower without an appointment. The rooms use a quiet color palette with funny touches. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the beach fins.

Families will appreciate space and equipment such as the dormitory style refrigerator, the coffee maker, television safely in the room, flat -screen TV, a large closet and even a dress. My only complaints were the limited points of sale near the beds (although the tablet in the room offered two USB ports) and there were not enough dresses for everyone in the room.
They even offer approval in the room that makes this thirsty girl happy – free water that has been replaced daily.
Dinner at the Margaritaville Resort Orlando
There are three main restoration options on the property, but so many others in the adjacent Sunset Walk Dining and Entertainment district. On the property, you have the following:

- Euphoria Fish House: Euphoria takes its name from the beloved yacht of Jimmy Buffett. This lounge and this restaurant are out of the main hall and includes seafood and fresh outdoor kitchen. They also have live music most afternoons / evenings. In addition to dinner, they also serve breakfast and dinner.
- Arrangements: Also located off the main hall, provisions are a quick restaurant offering input options. This is your place for morning coffee or smoothies when you run to catch the shuttle for Disney. But if you want to stop for lunch, they also have wrapped salads and sandwiches, pizzas, empanadas, Cuban sandwiches and more.
- Bar and grill on a salty edge: Located by the pool, this bar is only open to guests. Margaritas are the main jam, but you can also get light bites and toasted favorites. Keep in mind that a cocktail will cost you $ 10-15 pop.

Sunset walk
Another good thing about Margaritaville Resort Orlando is that they have also built a catering and entertainment district, promenade to Sunset Walk, from a distance from the main hotel. Catering options Include burgers, barbecue, Mexican, Brazilian steakhouse, and more.
We spent our first night consulting Studio Movie Grill, where you can eat while enjoying a film in a luxury tilting chair. There are twelve theaters in all, as well as a bar / restaurant in the hall. It was such a fun experience – and such a comfortable way to watch a film!
Type (one day) in Margaritaville
Margaritaville Orlando Resort is not one of these mega-espirs like Atlantis, which can actually be overwhelming. But that does not mean that you will be bored – far from it. The complex offers three swimming pools heated at the end’s up Beach Club, a spa, a on -site water park and a commercial / dining area.
FINS UP Beach Club

The end of UP Beach Club is open to owners of Margaritaville Cottage and the recorded customers of the hotel or chalets. The Beach Club includes hot lagoon pools, one with zero entrance and a beach. The heated swimming pools are surrounded by comfortable loungers and palm trees. I particularly appreciated that there were small tables between both loungers, because they can sometimes be difficult to find.

There are also full service huts available for rental. Servers are on site to deliver umbrella drinks and cheeseburgers to paradise. Next to the swimming pool, you will find a life -size chess painting, a hole of corn and other games.
ST. SOMEWARE Spa
The ST. SOMEWARE SPA offers eight treatment rooms, a sauna and a hammam. I was very tempted to spend an afternoon enjoying a massage “it is 5 hours somewhere” or a face of “stars on the water”.
H20 Island
Note: I was invited to a major media opening event at H20 Live, which included free tickets for the water park. All opinions are mine.

I wrote a separate article on our day at the Island H20 Water Park, however, I can provide a brief overview here. Island H20 opened its doors in June 2019 to great interest due to its innovative integration into technology. Island H20 offers nine thrill rides, including falling slides, wave pool, tube blades and two raft walks.
Each guest receives an intelligent group to use throughout their day at the park. The Smart Band is linked to the Island H20 mobile application. Visitors can then use their application to personalize the music that plays on certain rides, connect with friends and family so that they can find them throughout the park and see the photos.

Customers can scan their group before riding a walk, which will trigger music, lights and / or photos or videos that are captured during the trip. There are also selfie stations throughout the park where customers can scan their groups and download photos via the application (Family Photo Package required.)
Affordable occasional luxury in Kissimmee
We found that the Margaritaville Resort Orlando offers good value, especially compared to expensive Disney hotels. Keep in mind that in addition to typical taxes, they also charge complicity costs depending on the night rate (it was $ 30 during our visit.) (The prices are likely to change, please check the current prices.)
