Glamping stations appear throughout New England, and the mission was to try most of them. I have never been a fan of the campsite, because I prefer the luxury of a real bed and an interior bathroom, so glamping is only my style. When Outdoor Resort Terramram Open near Bar Harbor in Maine, I knew as soon as I saw the photos that it was to appear on my list.
Luckily, I was heading for the Maine coast to spend time in the Acadia region and in the Maine’s Highlands, making it the ideal opportunity to give Terramor a test stay.

Revue du Complexe à Air Air on Term
TLDR: Outdoor Resort Terramram was my favorite tent glamping experience. The tents and equipment are luxurious and the complex brings together the experience of nature that I was looking for with hotel type amenities so that it always feels as a vacation.
Glamping tents on the terraum
There are nearly 60 tent sites at the Outdoor Resort terramram, with five different types of tents, including one that is accessible in a wheelchair. All tents have electricity and wifi and can accommodate the range of common temperatures in Maine, offering air fans, pendleton covers and radiators.
- Pruche tents – Sleep two people with a connection bathroom and an outdoor shower
- Adler tents – Sleep up to five years and are good for large families or groups looking for a more rustic experience. They offer a Queen bed and three twin beds, with private toilets and a modern private shower room a few steps away.
- Moose tents – Sleep up to five people with two bedrooms, including a King bed and a bunk bed with a double at the bottom and a twin on the top, plus a high-end bathroom with an interior shower without an appointment and an additional outdoor shower.
- Birch tents – Sleep up to five people with a royal bed and a bunk bed with a double down and a twin on the top, plus a high -end bathroom.
- Bayberry tents – Perfect for couples or singles, these tents sleep two with a King bed and a high -end bathroom.
I was traveling solo in a road trip from Downeast Maine, so the Bayberry tent was a perfect choice. I stayed in the D-03 tent, with a quiet location near the parking lot and a short walk to the lodge and the hiking trails. Complementary wagons and firewood are available in each parking lot to transport your personal effects on your tent site, which keeps things pleasant and silent by tents. There are even electric car chargers in the main parking lot by the lodge.

Each tent has a private fire ring with two comfortable Adirondack chairs. I also loved hanging out on the chairs on the porch, far from insects or rain. A perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine.
Inside, I was blown away by the quality of the furniture and especially the bathroom. The modern design reminded me of the elegant tents under canvas, but they went beyond. The bed was super comfortable, with small bedside tables and electricity on each side (unlike lanterns and outings powered by battery offered to Under Canvas).
There are additional blankets if you are cold, in addition to the portable radiator. The tent was also equipped with a stopover holder and a table loaded with coffee cups, wine glasses and pour over coffee, with an ice chest below.

What really blown me in the Bayberry Terramram tent is the very large bathroom. It was equipped with a double sink vanity, a giant shower and separate toilet. Terramor has provided plush towels, as well as equipment, including shampoo, revitalizing, body washing and body lotion. No traction chains here – hot water in the shower lasted a long time and was quite relaxing. There was even a hair dryer if I wanted to rejoice.
Despite the tight tent, a giant spider managed to find its way, although fortunately I discovered it before going to bed (not fortunately for that). And housekeeping has missed a few things that I found in previous guests garbage, but I hope it was a sign that it was the start of the season, the short -term thesis problem that most places seem to live this summer.
Lodge and equipment

The Terramor lodge is a perfect gathering place to meet friends and family or meet new ones. The Lodge has a small camp store with well -organized brand gifts (which reminded me of the store in Auto Camp Cod Cod), as well as drinks, sandwiches and snacks.
During my visit, the Lodge restaurant served both breakfast and dinner. There was a surprising range of dinner options to satisfy a variety of palaces, as well as a selection of wines, local beers and even craft cocktails. I ordered the hamburger, which was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff member, David, took the time to sit with me and offer suggestions of local initiates on places to visit and means of avoiding crowds.
The lodge has a number of telescopes used for their star programs. There are also board games to borrow and enjoy in front of the fireplace inside the lodge or on the ridged porch. Families can also enjoy a friendly hole of corn on the lawn behind the lodge.
If you follow the path in front of the lodge, you will soon arrive at the heated swimming pool and a whirlpool for use by guests, with hours for designated adults. Towels and lounge chairs are provided to relax in the sun. On the property, you will also find a large picnic pavilion for group gatherings, as well as wooden coal grids for guests.
With a lot of open space to run, but semi-private tents nestled in the woods, the outdoor Reosrt in Terrors is ideal for a nature-based vacation getaway.
Location near Acadia National Park

Terramram Outdoor Resort is located just 15 minutes from Barbor’s town of Barbor Harbor (see recommendations on Things to do at Bar Harbor) and 15 minutes from the entrance to Mount Desert Island to Acadia National Park. This makes Terramor an excellent home port to explore the Downeast Acadia region, including all the things to do near Acadia National Park. If you plan to visit Acadia, follow this Acadia National Park itinerary.
Term experiences
Like many complexes, Terramor Outdoor Resort offers a number of activities and optional experiences on site. These include the nights of striking stars using complementary Celestron telescopes, shows and demonstrations of lumberjack and dinners to a boil in lobster.
The provider office can also hang guests with hiking suggestions, restaurant recommendations and other unique experiences.
End

Terramor is perfect if you visit Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and are looking for an alternative to a stay at the hotel. The complex offers a luxury glamping experience with all the comfort of the creatures you need, as well as a full service lodge which offers the amenities you expect from a hotel station including a restaurant, a swimming pool and activities.
However, if you are used to the campsite and are looking for an independent glamping option, Terramor is not the best choice. You can use community grins to cook food and use the ice trunk provided in the tent to prepare meals, but tents do not have the kitchens of the camp that you would find in a Huttopia station.
I found that Terramor was the best experience in Glamping Global that I had to date. The tents were luxuriously named but still in a rustic setting similar to a camp, unlike the safari tent in which I stayed in a Koa seaside resort, which was tightened between two motorhome sites. The Lodge and Resort property also had the most beautiful installations, with only Huttopia in New Hampshire at the end of the second since they had a lake on site.
