Find out where to find hand -made sandals, high quality Positano modes and ceramics in this Positano buying guide.
I am not often a big buyer on vacation. I prefer to spend my time exploring and I a lot Rather spend my money on experiences or very good food. However, when I do travel shopping, I prefer to buy art or crafts or clothes made locally that I can integrate into my house or my wardrobe to remind me of the trip.
I have paintings from Paris and New Orleans that I can’t walk without thinking about these trips. I have pottery and metallic products from Morocco which reminds me of our fabulous time in Fes. I made follies on a magnificent hand made by hand in Iceland which so perfectly captures the spirit of the country of ice and fire.
Positano, Italy is one of those places where you just want to bring something home to remember its exquisite beauty. This legendary city of the Amalfi coast also has its own special style. If you spend time in Positano, you will see women walking in fluid fabrics, long skirts and peasant blouses in pastel colors or lemon fabrics, and you will see these Positano designs sold throughout the city.
You will also see colored ceramics from top to bottom of the Amalfi Coast, much decorated with lemon always present. Unlike Capri, the streets of Positano are not lined with the same high -end creative stores that you could find in each big city. Positano concerns much more local designers and products manufactured locally.

Where to buy in Positano
After spending days walking in the streets and entering and getting out of various stores, here are my recommendations on the place where shopping in Positano. Even if you do not plan a trip to Positano, many of these stores are also sold online.
You will find many stores along Viale Pasitea, which is the main street that winds from the top of the city to the beach. You will also find many stores via Dei Mulini and via Cristoforo Colombo.
Casa e Bottega (household items)

When we visited Positano, we rented an apartment via del Monte and we took up the city to the beach. On our way, we stopped at Casa e Bottega For a coffee or healthy juice. I also admired their beautiful house articles such as table sheets, glassware, modern ceramics and decorative accents.
I fell in love with a beach bag but I abstained from buying it because of the price. As soon as we left, I regretted it and this year finally found something similar when we were in Ravello.
Casa e Bottega is located in Viale Pasitea, 100, Positano
Luisa store (clothing)

There are many stores that offer “Positano style” beach and style clothes, but I found the staff at Luisa store Positano to be particularly useful. There is a wide selection of elegant and fluid dresses, high, shorts, bikinis, and more, which are all handmade on the Amalfi coast.

They have clothes for women and girls. I bought one of my favorite tops here, as well as a sunglaughter for Hannah in their classic style.
Luisa Positano is located in via Pasitea, 78
Nadir Positano (clothing)

Nadir Positano is another of my favorite stores with women’s clothing at a moderate price. The staff here were also very friendly and helpful and their styles were very “Positano”, but also very portable. I bought a embroidered tunic that I put at home quite often.
Nadir Positano is located in via Pasitea 44
Antica Sartoria (clothing)
One of the most famous Positano brands is Antica Sartoria. The clothes of these stores are absolutely magnificent, but not exactly practical. These are the type of clothing that looks fabulous in Positano but do not necessarily translate at home except perhaps on the beach of the Hamptons.
It’s a little more expensive than Luisa and the staff are not as useful, but I managed to obtain a magnificent scarf here for around ten euros.
Antica Sartoria is located in Piazza dei Mulini, 1/3
Artigianato Rallo Moda Positano (shoes)

My favorite “memory” of our time in Positano is my sandals made by hand of Artigianato Rallo. In this small shop, you choose your base and the height of the heel, then what color and style of straps you prefer.
They then measure your foot and a few hours later, you can pick up your sandals. They will adapt to the straps to your foot and Martel will in the sole right in front of you.
Artigianato Rallo is located in Viale Pasitea 96
